The first is the full-speed threshold, 8 GB on the 7-day plan, 20 GB on the 30-day one. Past it your connection drops to around 512 kbps, which is slower but perfectly fine for maps, messaging, boarding passes and calls. The second is a ceiling, 10 GB and 25 GB on those same plans, where the data stops. What you will never get is a bill: you pay once, and there is no overage charge at any point. If you think you'll go past the ceiling, tell us before you fly and we'll sort you out.
