How we cover a country

In every destination your eSIM connects to established local operators rather than a single roaming partner. That means real 5G and LTE where it exists, and a fallback to another network if the first has no signal , the same resilience a local SIM would give you.

Why the plans differ country to country

Wholesale data does not cost the same everywhere: around 40 cents a gigabyte in Israel, closer to €18 in Tajikistan. Rather than average that out and overcharge most of the world, every country is priced against its own networks. That is why a Swiss plan starts lower than an Angolan one, and why an expensive country lists only the smaller tiers , where a bigger plan would have to sell for more than €80, we would rather not list it at all.

The Europe plan

One eSIM, 35 countries, no new plan at any border. Cross from France into Italy into Slovenia and nothing changes, the data just keeps working. If your trip touches more than one of them, this is almost always the plan you want. It is a shared data pool, which is why it spans 35 countries and not every European one we sell: a pool costs whatever its most expensive member costs. Everywhere outside it, including the rest of the EU, has its own single-country plan at its own price.
