We make getting online abroad as forgettable as it should be: buy once, land, and you're connected, no roaming warnings, no bill shock, no SIM in the post.
Why we started
Anyone who’s travelled knows the two bad options: pay your carrier’s eye-watering roaming rates, or hunt for a local SIM kiosk in a language you don’t speak, on arrival, jet-lagged. eSIMs quietly made a third way possible, a data plan you install before you leave, and we built the version of that we wanted to use ourselves.
What we believe
- Only sell what we can actually deliver. We started Europe-only and now cover 79 countries, adding each one when we have real local operators behind it and a price we can stand behind, not a weak signal in 200 with an asterisk.
- One honest price. You pay up front. There’s no overage rate, because there’s nothing to overrun.
- People, not scripts. When something goes wrong at 10pm in a country you don’t know, a human should answer.
Who’s behind it
A small team based in Europe, travelling as often as we can get away with. Miru is the name we travel under, and the standard we hold the product to: travel the right way.
